| Single-sided monochrome cards are printed at an enormous speed of up to 1,000 cards per hour. At the same time it also produces up to 115 double-sided, full colour printed cards. Despite its high performance the Quantum is hardly more complicated to use than a common office printer. Its innovative design is modular: the easy-to-open loading tray and the receiving tray can hold 500 cards each. Use the encoding station on demand and you have the choice of encoding magnetic stripes and chip cards right or left. Simply order the corresponding encoder. As needed, the Quantum also imprints pre-cast holograms onto the cards, to protect them better against counterfeiting. Defective cards are recognized by the Quantum automatically, and they are released into a separate tray. |
